Mr B and B&D just got a couple of genuine LOLs out of me. Dialogue could've been straight out of Lock, Stock, if the film had've been all about a debate around silly twats and their tasteless cars.

When I hit the big time I'm going to have a Morris Minor covered in Swarovski crystals and a windscreen so tinted that the sun itself could hover inches above it and I'd be like "what's that faint glow?"

spotted today in sunny new cross.
i wonder if the owner still loves it?
I saw this the other night on Brookmill Road, almost nipped back for a pic but the sodium lighting did the gold no favours (it would appear daylight doesn't do it many either).

took her out to calder last night. stupid busy. andra guys were busting my balls on tech inspection, luckily it was booked in for proper inspection next mon, so they let me slide. warned me i'd get a tap on the shoulder if i ran in the low 10's.
by the time i hit the track the line was back to the turn-off for timeslips, so it was a patient wait in line. lucky no oil downs.
first run on soft launch, 10.79@130 with 1.61, track seemed sticky, so decided to nail second run. nothing from andra guys so lined up again, wayy down the back. temps dropping and track was getting sticky.
nice big burnout, she launched off the line so kept the boot in, short shifted a little to be safe. going back thru pits no andra guys, but track marshalls weren't letting any more cars thru. was a little disappointed as thought it was a 10.4 or something. then i see a mate and he's jumping up and down shouting 10.1, didn't believe him so back to collect time slip. 10.15@132.4 with 1.47 60ft. absolutely over the moon. car went dead straight and strong.
she's already back at the workshop for tech inspection on mon, also got some scales lined up. definately going to aim for 9.xx n/a, which is possible if i can get 135 mph. still running a safe rich tune and only spinning it to 6900-7000. also need to pick-up adjustable rear upper control arms and boxed lowers. stay tuned.

c) The owner doesn't give a shit.
When I lived in Little Venice, this was a regular sight. Tinted Windscreen and black plates remained on it for a year at least.Registration number would suggest it is old enough for legal white on black plates, no? If it is a 'Sloane cunt' probably came off Daddy's old jag.
Windscreen clearly not legal though. You do see lots of illegal tinting about, I don't think the police have the time/inclination to deal with it mostly.

Doesn't matter what the reg is, car is newer than 72 = black on white.

He could put a hat box on that, give it that "photocopier salesman going to a wedding with his wife" look.

Illegally respaced to B3N VL #cunt #megacunt #whatacunt #sloanecuntI absolutely don't understand deliberately making your car noticeably illegal, positively begging the police to stop you.
But then again, I don't understand why you can't space them how you fucking like anyway, given that the whole reason a B3 Nxx plate has a value and is held back for sale is that it reads 'Ben' when illegally spaced.
Nor do I understand why they changed the rules to demand white/yellow plates when black silver are clearly still considered safe enough for older cars.

Mine had some show plates in the style of German registration marks with the UK number, but when I drove it people shouted "German cunt!" at me.
I binned 'em.

Ha, Those German 'scene' plates are such a cliche. What's the point? I drive a German car but would rather have UK style plates on it, though I do like those little surrounds you can get from Germany.
I used to run my Vespa on its old Modenese plates while I was waiting for the UK ones to arrive. As a UK resident that was illegal too. I'm pretty sure it hadn't been registered in Italy for years either. The main problem there was italians wanting to talk to me at traffic lights because they thought I was Italian and had ridden the thing all the way to London :-)
Nice, I won an airport competition a couple of years back, got three bottles of good whisky and champagne and didn't even have to buy anything.
I was travelling to a funeral.
