What is it about the Greggs ones that is so good then? The pastry, filling, composition or what?

Still not had one but gonna make it my mission tomorrow to track one down.

Minimal-to-zero air
Rich, butter (but not greasy) pastry with a great 'crumb'
Thick, sweet filling
As big as yer fist
