The definitive OTP ( Off-The-Peg ) List (<£500 and <£1,000 sections)

From what I can remember the crankset, chain and hubs looked crap. I can't remember much else other than it was obviously thrown together any old way by the shop and my mate didn't know any better. This was 2011 actually so they might have made changes possibly. Have I just nullified my own point?

Was it a Viking though, or a create/no logo/something else?

The reason I suggested the viking is that the wheels seem decent (formula type sealed hubs) reasonable rims, could do with a re-tension at the LBS of course, and chunky unbranded sugino cranks (i think) with a sealed bearing BB, and what look like unbranded Tektro brakes. You could probably spend £150 on those parts alone.
