Just got back from my first ride- it's a great bike.

First impressions- it's very low at the front, this is not a sportive frame.

It's very stable, and corners very nicely- that low front gets a lot of weight over the front wheel.

This bike is very stiff- I had thought that steel = bendy, but stamping on the pedals out of a corner shows minimal deflection at the BB.

A cable group takes a little bit of getting used to again- Di2 and it's front auto-trim feature is notable when you don't have it.

I really enjoyed my ride today, which is the main thing.

Just put this side by side with my System Six- the Serotta is significantly lower at the front.

I'd need a neg 17 stem, and possibly a shorter headtube on the S6 to duplicate it.

It's a new type of Fizik tape, their take on the Lizard Skins DSP apparently.

I like that fizik tape. It is a bit less bulky than lizard skin.

It's good stuff- I usually use Lizard Skins as a default, but I'll use this again when I next need to wrap some bars.

I have to say I feel much happier now that I have a road bike again.

Why didn't you go for a compact and a 11-25t ?
