A perfect lunch in Portugal. TheoryGirl and I shared a few starters - tender as you like baby squid in garlic oil, grease-free calamari, plump mussels in white wine and rich, intense fish soup. All fresh as a daisy having been brought in daily to a harbour not half a mile away. Another lunch at the same place a day earlier of again fish soup, my favourite dish of all time, lobster bisque and seafood cataplana to share was equally faultless. On both occasions we were the only guests too. Spoilt bloody rotten.
