Proper leather shoes

What are they, Loake?

EDIT: URL says yes. I really like Loake, the leather isn't the most luxurious going but the two pairs I've had have been really solid and very comfortable. Good shape too. What sole are you thinking of? For my posh winter boots I wish I'd gone with something suitable for wet weather, like a Dainite maybe.

Yeah Loake Bledales. Look really nice on, though I sized down to an 8 and I'm considering trying a 7.5 (though I didn't have chunky winter socks on when I tried them) as they are pretty wide. They come with a rubber sole as above. Lovely boots. I think I'll pull the trigger on them.

I'm not convinced I could work them with a suit though. Any suggestion for a good boot to wear to the office through the winter?
