I have held off from saying anything until now - I had assumed the problem was service. If he had displayed any positional sense or produced a single moment of quality I would give him the benefit of the doubt - as it is I see very little there. He just looks out of his depth.

His record in La Liga suggests he's a good player, especially given the teams he played for there.

Spurs goal scoring record this season is poor, but that's surely a collective issue, not his alone so maybe both he and the team need to adjust to make more use of him.
