Just cleaned up the chainset and pedals. Pretty much all surface rust(there wasn't much) gone with a quick rub of Peek polish and tinfoil and a buff with a cloth. Only took 5mins to get them looking more than respectable.
Turns out they're Williams cranks, logos all in tact with matching 48t ring. Ring shows minimal wear and the chainring bolts are nice and snug with no hint of rounding on the heads which is nice.
Unsure whether I should t-cut(least abrasive grade) the frame. It's not crazed/heavily scratched so doesn't need it but would possibly come out nearly factory fresh if I did. So far I've just used non-abrasive turtlewax cleaning wipes which have revealed what little imperfections there are.
