Done a little more on the Langsett in a hungover stupor today.
Bottom bracket came out with no trouble at all, yet again showing how well the old boy looked after it. Threads are perfect, no rust in the bottom of the shell at all and the oiler nipple cleared straight away.
Nice cottered Bayliss Wiley bb, all faces cleaned up fine and no sign of pitting.
Have got new balls going in but probably could have repacked the old ones.
Cotter pins didn't look too deformed so will hopefully be able to reuse them seeing as all the new ones I've used appear to be made of cheese.
Will hopefully finish cleaning up the frame and regrease the headset, put the bb back in and polish cranks tomorrow.
