£2k for 105 and budget wheels? No thanks.
That's sort of the point. Most OTP mid-high end race bikes come with wheels for training. You race an aero race frame with your aero race wheels.

New S2 is the 2014 S3 frame with cheap forks slung on it. You used to get 3T Funda. Seems to have been a last minute addition/afterthought as not announced previously and they have it in stock ready for sale right now.

What do we think about this? I can't ride fixed through this looming 'arctic drop' and need something with brakes, gears, racks, etc.

It seems a bit expensive for something equipped with Shimano 2300.

Italian stickers are expensive.

I can't ride fixed.
There's your problem.

Very good, but I should rephrase perhaps. I don't want to be riding fixed in the snow on 23mm tyres, despite being perfectly capable, thanks edscoble. I ride from Stoke Newington to Brixton and back everyday and that will soon become tiresome in shit weather. I was going to get it on finance... I like Cinelli frames - and this build in particular because of its classic styling. But if you think I can get more for my money (on finance, not ride2work/cyclescheme), what audax build would you recommend?

Then don't ride with 23mm tyres.

A lots of people on here commute as far as that (if not further), even on the LEL.
What audax build would you recommend?
Top of my head is Genesis Equilibrium, Surly Pacer/Crosscheck, Tokyo Fixed Wide Open Dream Machine, Ribble Audax, Jamis Quest, Moda Bolero, Kona Honky Tonk.

Where would people be putting £1500 at the moment.
It's for long fastish training rides, needs to be shimano compatible.
Any advance on the Planet X rt 58 ultegra?
Or should I stick with my beaten up ribble and get a power meter...?
Ryan put a lots of R&D toward my Oaks.
It ride awesome.
