I'm not sure that's fair Ordinata / greenhell - he said he 'would not be against' a ban on cyclists wearing headphones.
I can't see it happening, but can't see it as victim blaming though - it's just good sense, like not wearing dark glasses when riding at night.
These guys aren't victims yet, but they are massively increasing the odds that they will become one. No rearview mirrors on a bike, your hearing is a massive aid to being aware of non line of site traffic.
