  • That C200 is pretty ok, and it's really cheap. About €3 here. Give it a try.

    If you want sharper / finer grain / really nice colours you have to pay more,
    Kodak Ektar / Portra, Fuji Pro 400H etc. - they are around €6 here.

    There also is this new Agfa slide film, Precisa CT - which you can get in drugstores where I live,
    two for under €9, which is really not expensive given it's really good.

    None of the good film are "outrageously" priced imo (except high iso slide film or some special shit); it's basically "you get what you pay for".
    Consider you'll be spending some more cash on good devevolping though, and divide the sum by 36.

    I guess my logic is only do analog if you want to pay for good film and proper developing,
    otherwise it's likely you won't be happy with the results anyway, and also it renders your expensive camera rather useless.
