I do my brakes forrin, for a smoother curve: running the front from the right hand lever, gives a friction-tastic right angle.
Similarly, running the derailleurs into the opposite stops (and crossing under the down tube, as above) gives a smoother curve, but more importantly eliminates cable rub and the need for Helicopter tape.
