AFAIK with internal gear, you still have to stop pedalling before changing gear. I was hoping that some magical, electronic wizardry would mean that you can shift under load.

I have a NuVinci 360 on the cargo bike. I shift all the time while cycing up steep hills with the a load + rider + bike weight > 200kg. No worries.
Its the weight of a small moon though.
