Forum Rider Down and/or notification of minor incidents

i don't know if this has been discussed

it seems as the clocks go back/ autumn arrives and commutes start happening in the dark the number of incidents increase rapidly, people adapt to the new conditions slowly and car drivers don't see bikes quite so clearly ... cyclists lights not quite as bright as they dig old lights out of the cupboard with weak battery's

I am guilty of this and am out to buy batteries at lunch time and possibly some new lights too.
