The shimashamadingdong sounds like the best way to go if possible. Hopefully that way somebody else has swallowed the initial cost of getting the wheel relaced. The marchisio route is also a plan is the splines are compatible. As long as I can get a shamal wheel to work properly with a sram bar end shifter/ rear mech then I'm golden.
