Mavericks is the same as the others, no real difference.
kboy, wtf have you done to a year old iMac to make it run so poorly? Ran onyx/disc utility at all?

I've just used it normally for work. CS5.5 runs really well, it's just something odd with cs6. It needs a re-install I think, but I need a downtime day for that, and there hasn't been one of them for a while, and none up ahead, so I'm stuck with cs5.5
