I'm a dedicated Raphalite, but I've never bought a jacket with a DWR coating for this reason. Not being made of money, any Rapha gear is an investment that I want to be using for years, the fact that rain jackets inevitably stop being waterproof really puts me off.
Speaking of investments, having used the Pro Team jersey all summer and washed it tens of times, it still literally looks brand-new. Win.
