Fad or not but there was a player at the Worlds who ran a HY/RD disc caliper and it was pretty good according to Luca, maybe that's why he's going for it?
I can't speak for Luca, but I have posted quite a few times that I am looking at short pull disc combined with regular long pull levers with pull adjustment. I have the Spyre sitting on my desk but I might or might not put it on the bike as I am too looking at the HY/RD.
My reasoning is that I am currently running mini-vs with regular long pull lever and love it hence thinking of doing the same when I go disc. Major win or fail? Won't know till I try.
