It is indeed looking like a fairly big crowd, and I'll be giving some thought to how we manage the issues that flow from that. Splitting it into two rides seems a bit drastic, but we will encounter splits at traffic lights and will need to have good communications across the group.
I was wondering if any 'split' is going to take place it would make more sense after High Beech when the fixielords can safely power off on their own without too many traffic light considerations.
It might happen naturally after that point anyway, but as there's a natural pause there then it might be a good opportunity to collect any straggling groups, check up on strays, or meet up with latecomers.
I've no doubt I'll be in the tail group no matter what happens mind
