They did come together. They both picked me :) to join the pack already living at mum's.
Celia Hammond generally only offer their cats for adoption in pairs. I'm so glad I did take two. For the sake of a few extra £ for food and care costs they have been the greatest friends and playmates. This has been particularly useful when I've had to be away for extended periods. I would hate to leave one on their own. If you decide to get another, do it soon. Patch is much more likely to accept a newcomer while she's still young herself.
I rescued mine from Celia Hammond but as she was a little older was allowed to have one mainly because my wife didnt want 2. I was given a kitten this year and my cat took a while to take to him. There was a lot of chasing and mock fighting from both but they are now inseparable.
