If you want to save a bit of cash over the DXR you could go for something like an tOdyssey Hazardx. I used to have one with a 10mm axle and cassette driver on my BMX race bike, would have been perfect.
That's interesting. These take regular SS cogs (the type that'll fit a shimano road cassette)? It is still a new wheel which I don't need if the right frame is out there. I'm a road cyclist, I have road wheels but want to commute fixed and dabble in sscx, hillclimbs and light trails. I've been waiting years for someone to do a Felt Breed setup as frameset only. The Natureboy is close is a bit overpriced (and overweight).
I have e fixed/free wheel. It's ideal for commuting but they're rubbish for 'cross. Even with WI freewheel.
