good result, not that much of a game really.
Lamela's goal, and growing confidence was good to see. He looks a bit like a young Cristiano Ronaldo, with the step overs and the close control.
Capoue returning gives us a really interesting mix in midfield with him being a more Busquets type player in terms of breaking up and initiating play.
Still think Kaboul and Vertonghen are our best center back pairing.
We've qualified, now have two games to experiment with the squad and young players and to see if we can get that mix of defensive solidity and attacking spirit going.
Need a younger sweeper keeper to be brought in, Brad's getting perilously close to his sell by date.
Eriksen showed flashes of inspiration, and his second half screamer which was just tipped over the bar was excellent. But he also dawdled a bit, played a couple of sloppy passes that put us into trouble, and had a hard time finding that pass that would unlock Sheriff.
Newcastle on the weekend, hoping they come out and play, rather than try to stifle us, more space for us to attack into that way..
