Monetary value has no bearing on quality of the item desired. Any good buyer will try and get as much as possible for nothing. Because you come in at zero doesnt mean it is valueless it means that the buyer is trying to get it for nothing.

I go back to my "what's in it for him" comment. Zero cash and nothing else on offer? I'd walk away too. There's clearly nothing there to keep him at the negotiating table is there?
