^ The braking surface isn't noticeably better in the dry, but the durability is great. Savings you make in replacing rims more than compensates the original outlay. Where did he buy them?
It's 3 years old and doesn't show sight of wear yet (replaced pads a dozen of time thought).
He's actually thinking about going back to normal rims as braking is better despite great performance in wet.

If he wants to sell, please pm me.

Afraid he'll wear it out first, he worn out his original Open Pro in 6 months.
I can try and coax him into getting A23 laced on instead, he don't want to go on the Pyreenes with those rims.

Does he use ceramic-specific pads?

He did, performance were adequate, just neither here nor there.
Does ceramic rims exist nowadays? (apart from the heavy duty touring kind).

Needs crabby clinchers. But me gusta.jpg.
On JB's advice I got these.
Have ordered Zipp decals in the mean time.
I have been messing about with saddle and bar position - the post has now come down 1.5cm

For me, it's done now.
I will get a new pedal/shoe system in the new year.
They feel a lot different and the free wheel is awesomely loud.

Looks great. I wouldn't put Zipp decals on it either though.

I'd maybe just desticker the Cosmics if it's not hard to do. Just think I'd rather that, than pretending they're Zipps when they're not… personal thing though.

They're not comics either

Or Beanos
Or Dandys
Yeah - I like looking at whole bikes. Likelihood is, I'll have this frame for another year or so, upgrade the wheels and then look at a new frame (purely for vanity reasons) this setup is already far advanced of what I as a rider give as performance but it is my aim to do more and more riding - eventually maybe even some racing...mebe
