OWK’s stable - De Rosa / Geoffrey Butler / Ridley Oval

Sorry for the lack of updates but here we are: The BB is not stuck but the teeth have rounded off. It therefore needs to be removed before I can move on. Matt (coldharbour) can melt it out, or the other option is for it to be milled out at Oak Cycles. Anyone have any relevant experience? Ideally I'd like to keep the paint.

pour caustic down seat tube and try to seal the space at the axle with putty? would dissolve the alloy from the inside and not touch the paint...
