They don't claim an are of 113 sq.in. they claim a diameter of 12". If you were building a "no go" gauge for a product claimed to be 12" diameter, it would be a 12" circular plate. Put the Pizza on the plate, and if you can't make the plate surface disappear completely by adjusting the position of the pizza, it's no go.
