I have this bike from 40's (sophisticated guess) and I have no idea of the brand. The frame is quite light separately and has Campagnolo drop-outs. French stuff maybe? Color is not original and and looks like it had blue/ red underneath.
Parts:
Stem/Handlebar: Cinelli
Brakes: L'am Depose Super Dural
BB: Campagnolo (cottered)
Saddle: Brooks B17 Champion Narrow
Cranks: Juy Simplex
Pedals: Prior -

It turns out to be a colnago super. From which it appears they made also supers with integrated cables , but it seems to be rare. Trying to find out in which year(s) they produced them;
This is a picture i found on the net : -

Which pedals are these? He calls them Look Carbon, but they don't exist and they don't completely resemble anything I can find.
I can buy both pairs for €85, would be worth it, I reckon?

They look like Look Keo Carbon which definitely exist. (They might have been superseded by the Max Carbon pedals but the main difference is the contact area.)
€85 sounds pretty good for two pairs as long as they're in good condition although the last pair I had exploded in less than a year / 6000 miles.

hi all - I have trawled these pages - but so much info has given me a raging headache...can anyone id this Custom chainset?
I can't find it anywhere...SR Sugino Stronglight...are they related?
Also, the measure between the bolt holes is 51mm, I take it that this beast has a 86 BCD - can anyone confirm, please?
Many thanks.

"Custom" chainsets are a budget range by SR.
SR stands for Sakae Ringyo
They made quite a few different bike parts, mostly cheap copies of european or high end japanese kit
Here's a link to one of their catalogues which might help with your id.

They copied stronglight but I'm not aware of any formal link and there's a kind of link with sugino through suntour. Cheap suntour groups tended to have SR chainsets and the pricey ones had Sugino i think -

Anyone got any ideas about what this could be?
Was thinking it might be a resprayed Klein based on the fork and dropouts. Thanks -

I have one chainring, BCD 144, was in Campagnolo Strada crankset, but there's no Campy logo, but it's 54t and it has "Globus Extra" engraved
here's some photos: https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/100372546750983197440/albums/5934324592047562081?ie=UTF-8
google shows nothing...maybe you know what it is, chainring like any other or something unique? -

hello, can anyone could help me to identify frameset, with such a pantography in photo
on bb is stamped P3, shimano dropouts, so maybe japan/american frame builder
-

No, it's not. The fluting is too long and it doesn't have (and doesn't have space for) the Campag crest by the crank bolt hole. No idea what it is though.

The brakes just look to have been reversed, no special mountings required.

Hi All,
hope this isn't a repost of another thread...but I have a Bianchi Pista (or, was sold to me as one) that has a custom paint job on it. As far as I can tell from comparing it to other chrome models it's pretty much identical - and the quality is up there.
What i'm trying to ID is the year of the frame, and any other specifics about it if there are any. The serial is: H7LR05907.
I've foundhere and here, two pistas that follow the same serial process, but are both 2008 despite them H8 and H7 respectively.
Does anyone have any info, or can point me in a direction of somewhere to properly ID my frame?
Thanks in advance!
