erm... no
Frieze Masters takes place 17–20 October 2013 in Regent's Park

Yeah, they have temporary lights and barriers everywhere - plus a Taxi queueing system. It was chaos last night even at 10pm...

^ this, fucking horrible to ride in regents atm, wouldnt recommend swains repeats either as highgate hill west has road works going on and has single lane traffic queues. I attempted both on tuesday evening

I went for a ride with Oli the other day and had to call it short after 8 miles because my body was dying. So yup.

My schedule has just altered so I will be looking to do this on the odd Thursday through the winter. Atm I think I can hold about 19mph SS for an hour, hopefully a bit more geared. That sort of pace you lot are looking at?
-
• #4788
Pace varies dramatically depending upon who's there, but people tend to find others who are going same pace.
DId some lap this morning instead, need to do that more often; lovely and quiet.

Yeah it is mayhem around Regents Park right now due to a Freize Fair. There will be an accident very soon.
-
• #4790
I would just steer clear of the whole thing if I were you. Will be finished by the end of the week.

It's on my route home can't avoid it really.
I came across a bloke dragging his terrified little girl across the road whilst on the phone yesterday. He had no regard for the safety of anyone. Don't think he even had a clue I missed them by inches.
Taxis doing random three point turns. Bentley convertibles doing fuck knows what. Lack of proper street lights.
People leaping out from the shadows.

I think I'll be there. Gonna buy some new lights and tyres now, so will be good to give them a try out. Will be on a red and black merckx roadie, for 7, at the york gate on the inner circle.

So I rocked up 20 minutes late due to a puncture, no one at york gate except a slightly strange looking bunch of yoga-ists, and duly spent the next hour hooning around with people I didn't know. Was awesome. Forgot how fast it feels at night.
-
• #4795
Ahhh man, I waited for a while. Ended up riding with a bunch I didn't know. Want to try again next week?
J -
• #4796
Ah well. Yeah, want to be there next week, so long as work allows it.

They're an odd bunch. I've got one on my Strava after I rode with him for a few evenings; they do 60 mile sessions sometimes. They don't hang about either, they've pushed me quite comfortably out of the top 10 lap times now, so hrumph.
Going to be doing laps tonight (not on a brompton), will swing by the inner circle at 6.30ish if anyone is around.
