I built a wheel using linseed oil last weekend. It was great. It made the whole process much smoother and checking the tension a few days later I found it bang-on. I have a 500ml bottle so lots to spare. I can bring it to polo if anybody want to decant some?

And it smells nice.

I've been using Fenwicks white PTFE grease; is linseed oil a good budget option for lubing spoke threads?
