  • How did you find fitting the rear mudguard? Is there some way of attaching it to the rear seat stay?

    I've fitted front and rear mudguards to my Pompino. The front obviously poses no problem. The rear mudguard is attached to the eyelets at the seatstay/chainstay joint above the dropouts. For the second attachment point I discarded the brake attachment and drilled a small hole in the mudguard in its centre. This hole was located so as to be in the place where the seatstays combine at the top just above the brake bosses. There is a hole in the frame here and it is tapped. I then screwed on the mudguard. It works perfectly. I think I placed a tiny o-ring on the screw between the mudguard and frame to avoid splitting the mudguard as a tightened it up.
