If you're a serious roadie type. You probably train a lot with power. Having a touring bike that you plan to do uber miles in could leave big holes in your power data. Makes perfect sense to me.
The sexy black bike under is perfect. I just find myself a little annoyed at the rear mech. For a 1x set-up a short cage is a far far better option.
