I decided to ride out and meet St Jude head-on.
I snapped my front mech cable so rode into Jude's clutches on the little ring, into the wind and up. I managed a little mechanics at the cafe, ate cake, drank coffee, stuck it in the big ring, flicked her a V, and rode her anger all the way home.
She dropped a couple of tonnes of water on us in the last 30km.
