  • My D7000 has the err blinking on the top screen again.
I bought the body as a refurb unit in April (ish) and all was fine until July when the err appeared.
AF works, the shutter fires, the image does not record.
I tried different lenses, settings, memory cards, all to no avail.
Took it back to Cameraworld in Chelmsford, where i bought it, and they sent it off the Nikon for repairs.
"it'll be 2-3 weeks" they said.
after 4 weeks I called for an update, it was a Saturday, an dthey said it is only open Mon-Fri, but they will chase it and call me Monday lunch time.
Tuesday afternoon, I got a call saying they are waiting for parts.
Next Monday i call again, was told they would chase and call me back that morning.
    no call.
The following week i did the same, to the same result.
On the 7th week i called, got the same reply, i mentioned it was the 3rd time i was promised a call back, and have yet to receive one.
    They didnt call.
Tuesday I sent a shitty email to them complaining about it their terrible customer service
Later that dayI get a call saying my camera is back and ready to collect.
I did not receive an email back from them.
10 days after picking up my camera, the err returns.
Tomorrow i get to go the Chelmo again and see if they will give me my money back.
    What are my chances?

    Tl;dr

I bought a camera, it went wrong, warranty repaired, now it gone wrong again (less than 2 weeks after the repair) can I get a refund?
