I would have thought most Goretex jackets would use the same membrane, but together with fewer laminated layers of material. Thats basically what paclite is.
The best example of the membrane only being only part of the big picture is goretex shoes. Some are amazing, some are worthless shite. Even if they all do use the same membrane.
Really wanted a Neoshell jacket. My next outdoor jacket will be a packable down jacket though.
