Digital photography

Can anyone recommend my Mum a canon camera and lens for product photography (mostly small porcelain objects) sadly her friend that did photography for her passed away recently so she has to do it herself now.

Somewhere around the £1000 mark for both.

Anything decent with a 50-70mm lens would do. I'd get a lightbox / cheap studio lights as well to make sure shots are consistent
