I've been watching the snow line as it works its way down the mountains. Agonisingly slowly. Today I broke. Its wet and mild out. But I wired up some lights to the Fatbike and commuted on it. Could'nt really push it. The studs need bedding in. Plus I need to shave a little off the driveside crank end.
......But it was proper fun. The rumbling of the 5" tyres, and the low chatter of the carbide studs made it sound like a little JCB. Brum brum. The bars, fit, and handling work perfectly. Definitly comfort and stability focused. But you can still throw it around some.
Gets too much attention though. I'm too old to have kids shouting 'serious man, cool bike' at me, from bus stops.
