Thanks guys for the camaraderie during this mammoth day. I left home at 6.20am and returned at 12.20am after cycling 145 miles.
Well done Earthloop on the momentous planning of the ride. Who'd have thought we would be chucking our bikes over a fence and riding through playing fields to get to our 2nd stop. No wonder some got lost and then found us again at our 3rd stop.
The tranquil crossing on the Mayor of London was such a contrast of what was to come when it was lighting up time. London at night was a real buzz with pubs spilling over onto the road and cheering us on.
There were so many learned characters in the club who all seemed to know where we were at any given time. Chapeau to you all.
