Earthloop, how do I do that? I need to check if our inadvertent breakaway group managed all 32 boroughs?

It's a pain in the arse:

tl;dr just do step 1 and drop the link here, delegate the rest to me

1. upload the track to ridewithgps
   
2. in the EXPORT tab, scroll down to the "Google Earth (.kml)
   .kml" link, and download and save that file.
   
3. In google maps, go to My Places and click on the "Or create with classic My Maps" link.
   
4. click "Import"
   
5. in the Import KML dialog, paste this url into the text box and then click "Upload from URL": https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?authuser=0&vps=2&ie=UTF8&msa=0&output=kml&msid=204895236060369963394.0004e428ad479cbc8ded8
   
6. now you have the borough boundaries, click Import again to add your track.
   
7. in the import dialog, upload the .kml file you saved from ridewithgps
   
8. click the Done button.
   
9. If there is no KML link, click "Write a comment" and add a comment to the map, save it and go back to My Places and find your map again.
   
10. Copy and paste the target of the KML link into the google maps search bar and press the search button
