Absolutely sucked ass all the way up (was considerably faster my first time up there, on my road bike), then proceeded to punish myself for my climb selection and/or tyre selection and/or performance by dumping my bike on its side on some nice wet stone while riding home.
Set out in torrential rain to do the worst climb in Kyoto with two buddies.
