saw in that orange county choppers once
they debated chrome or nickel and they were all very impressed when the nickel plated parts came back very happy with the decision they made

It's got to be worth that price, surely - it's a thing of wonder!

Most Chrome plated items have underlayers of electroplated copper then electroplated Nickel. It's the Nickel that gives the mirror/gloss finish and electroplated Chrome gives the colour and hardness properties.

Quick view at the Peugeot frame and forks I plated today. Once Brasso'd this beast will come up lovely. Otherwise the different colours obtained after handling the copper frame make it a different look.

Still thinking about plating the stem, seat post and crank arms.
