I bought them after I'd run up and down St Catherines Hill just outside Winchester- a mixture of grass, gravel, and some sections of loose earth mixed in with surfaced paths, which was quite challenging in pure road shoes.
The Kanadia's have a nice tread which grips really well on slightly uncertain surfaces.
