  • Off-road shoes in general will have a grippier rubber base. But less cushioning. So if you're a standard heel stricking runner. It would be better to learn to balance than trash your knees.

    I 'm actually pretty good at running mid/forefoot without heel striking. am sure my technique is pretty sloppy compared to what it used to be but i generally run on the balls of my feet.
