I've got some races lined up in parks etc as well. obvs if the weathers ok my normal shoes are fine, I'm just asking if i need to be thinking about it at least so I can put some money aside if need be. I need to run all through winter to stay on track with my training so it's best to be prepared.
Normal running shoes with bit more grip should be versatile enough for park running, without being too bumpy for road running.
