I can't believe the driver has a child who'd recently done the same course! The person (coward) that complained is to be ignored. Unless you can get a face to face with her and point out her stupidity.
I did a HGV driver training a little while back and one of the best things to happen, was a driver that failed to take heed to warning about really taking the lane when passing through road narrowings and almost got taken out by HGV himself! He looked like Casper the ghost by the end. Not sure what health and safety would say but if you could get a truck from the depot to pass the drivers whilst out on bikes themselves would make a massive impact on their outlook when behind the wheel themselves.
I'd still carry a camera for future sessions for the back of the snake though. The best way to remove poor/selfish/dangerous drivers from the road.
