go easy, don't break yourself. better to run a few days a week than blowing up and be stuck on the tube / bus
^ this. I've mentioned the 10% rule in this thread before: increase weekly milage by no more than 10% per week if you're going into new territory.
I don't have the attention span for that. If I don't make running the whole way part of my routine now I'll get tired of pissing around with public transport and start commuting by boat or something. You can say you told me so when I break.
I might have to give up soon though because despite stretching at every available opportunity my entire body has stiffened up like a corpse and I am struggling with basic movements.
