• Just seems the wrong way around..as anti-clockwise makes starting easier and dealing with the central london traffic on fresh legs is safer then with the appeal of country pub awaiting its more likely to draw me to the end.

    Then jump on trains (with tickets obviously) to get back...

    Is it too late to change all plans, do this in reverse and make the weather somthing like it was in midsummer...?

    Central is a better location to finish and probably more convenient for most. If people are getting tired towards the end it will be easier for them to head home rather than being in the outer limit wilderness.

    You can't change the weather, if it rains it rains, you have the right to stay in bed or do it in summer if you prefer.
