Believe i used a gusset on a cross bike a few years bike. Worked like it should, no complaints. An option would be to just continue to use your cassette unless you are bothered by the looks.

There's no real requirement for the spacers to have splines, is there?

I've got one of these: good quality and the widefoot sprocket is nice to have, so I imagine the Campag Gusset would do you well.
@Carabo: no, the spacers have no splines.

Miche have some singlespeed steel cogs in their catalog,
I don't know if they are thick enough to prevent damage on the freewheel aluminium body.
Has anyone got experience of the following or other SS converison Kits for Campagnolo freehubs?:
Wheels MFG:

or Gusset:
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/gusset-1-er-campag-single-speed-conversion-kit/
Whilst the Whells MFG kit has more spacers to get a good chain line the spacers don't appear to have any splines. The Gusset only has 2 options for chain line adjustment but is splined. Im not bothered about the cog as I;ll probably use one of my cassette until I choose what size I want. I do not want to wreck my freehub body as I've only just bought new wheels.
Can anybody advise which kit would be the better buy, or any other options?
(I don't want to buy a flip flop or track wheel, I just want to remove my gears for winter commuting)
thanks
