I cleaned the seattube and here's the results using the Deda 27.2 from the Plum as a control (because I know for a fact that the Plum is 27.2mm):
Spin Ti 27.2 - Only fits in Plum/Somec for about 2-3cm Deda 27.2 - Fits in Plum & Somec Kalloy* 27.2 - Fits in Plum & Somec
Conclusions:
Somec has to be 27.2mm ID, in which case the Spin Ti post is not.
Better PM the seller.
*I also cleaned it up and found the 27.2 stamp, so I'm sure about it, and the frame being 27.2
