I think you'll need to look at his "interception" rate. He doesn't tackle, neither does Carrick, but does he make "enough" interceptions/prevent passes etc by virtue of his mobility around the pitch?
Given he's a "unit", I'm guessing the answer is no.
He could follow Giles Barnes and go to the MSL, where Giles is happy and doing well. (Which is brilliant)
